Here is a Kurdish Mosul Rug from circa 1900 that is perfectly worn (with one tear that is about 3-4cm) and it is a hang-knotted wool piece. Mosel rugs are tribal carpets made in the Kurdish nomadic districts of NW Iran. Sourced in England.
Measures 7 ft 3” x 4 ft.
