A wonderfully hopeful composition, with two pale birds set beneath an intricately worked orb against a deep midnight-blue ground. The contrast is especially striking: the birds are reduced to simple, almost graphic silhouettes, while the sphere above them is densely patterned with tiny, energetic marks and flashes of colour. There’s something celestial and slightly folkloric about it, the birds appearing to gather beneath a moon, planet or imagined world. Small in scale but wonderfully distinctive, with an almost talismanic quality.
Keep out of direct sunlight and gently dust with a soft cloth.
