The Nasturtium

A wonderfully fresh still life, sourced in England, is painted on an oil on panel with loose, expressive brushwork. A cluster of green fruit is punctuated by flashes of vermilion, orange and yellow, giving the small composition an almost jewel-like intensity. We’ve newly mounted the work in natural linen and paired it with a vintage faux-bamboo frame so that the warmth and texture of the frame plays particularly well against the painting’s greens. 

Keep out of direct sunlight and gently dust with a soft cloth.
