Every so often, magic happens :) Hailing from the countryside of Hampshire, I found there were newspaper clippings from 1934 Ipswich behind the backing! How cool is that. This frame is at least 90 years old, and this handpainted watercolour is the same. The painting is from a late British Botanist’s field notebook.
