Founder’s Recommendation: Make it an Art Stack with The Boulders

Brought home by hand, this divine landscape is an oil on board from England. It captures the idyllic beauty of a rolling countryside with a harmonious blend of greens, blues, and soft earth tones. The artist’s keen eye for light and shadow brings depth to the scene, evoking a tranquil summer day filled with movement and warmth. I had such a primal pull to this piece, and the way the colours all come together surrounded by the original silver midcentury frame. It has the beginnings of an oil on the back and the board is a tad convex as a result. I love this piece and reminds me so much of the pieces in the Charleston Trust home.
